Ruido de fondo aborda posturas que desestabilizan nuestra percepción de la realidad, del espacio social y de las estructuras de poder. Un grupo de artistas que hablan del malestar que genera el ruido de fondo a través del vigor analítico de sus obras, que definen su punto de vista y que registran lo que intuyen como el espíritu de nuestra época. Ponen en crisis el ecosistema que nos rodea en base a desentrañar el desasosiego que perciben como fuente material de producción.

MECA Mediterráneo Centro Artístico impulsa este proyecto con el ánimo de dar voz a un grupo de artistas jóvenes que son exponente de actitudes comprometidas, que en muchos casos incomodan y que responden a un ruido de fondo omnipresente e impreciso que altera una imagen de lo cotidiano ya de por sí distorsionada y ambigua.

Background noise addresses positions that destabilize our perception of reality, social space and power structures. A group of artists who speak of the discomfort generated by background noise through the analytical vigor of their works, who define their point of view and who record what they sense as the spirit of our time. They put in crisis the ecosystem that surrounds us on the basis of unraveling the uneasiness they perceive as a material source of production.

MECA Mediterráneo Centro Artístico promotes this project with the aim of giving voice to a group of young artists who are exponents of committed attitudes, which in many cases are uncomfortable and respond to an omnipresent and imprecise background noise that alters an already distorted and ambiguous image of the everyday.
