El Proyecto Faces and Books es una selección de retratos tomados el 27 de septiembre de 2019 en Bryan Park a la salida de metro de la 6th Avenue con la 42th, fotografías que documentan la rutina diaria del tránsito de los vecinos y turistas que salen y entran a la parada de metro. Los libros están seleccionados de acuerdo a un imaginario que conecta las ciudades de Nueva York y Granada. La búsqueda y documentación de los libros seleccionados significó establecer relaciones emocionales entre los rostros anónimos y unos libros que de una manera interesada fui encontrando en las librerías de Manhattan: Kinokuniya, Barns & Nobel y Books Crossing Borders, cerca de la Biblioteca Pública que está al otro lado de la Plaza. 

The Faces and Books Project is a selection of portraits taken on September 27, 2019 in Bryan Park at the 6th Avenue and 42nd subway exit, photographs that document the daily traffic routine of residents and tourists leaving and entering to the metro stop. The books are selected according to an imaginary that connects the cities of New York and Granada. The search and documentation of the selected books meant establishing emotional relationships between the anonymous faces and some books that I found in an interested way in Manhattan bookstores: Kinokuniya, Barns & Nobel and Books Crossing Borders, near the Public Library next door. other side of the Plaza.
