El proyecto Imagen y límite supone el inicio de un trabajo de investigación formal con obras en dos y tres dimensiones, desde pinturas con colores primarios a fotografías y estructuras en formas geométricas en madera y aluminio. De diferentes tamaños, desde maquetas a estructuras que es sitúan entre el diseño y la arquitectura. Se utilizan recurrentemente estructuras abiertas y modulares derivadas del cubo. Entender los límites entre disciplinas de dos y tres dimensiones. Trabajar con el color de manera analítica confrontando materia e imagen fotográfica. Experimentar con el valor semántico del color frente a su carácter sensual y táctil. Poner a trabajar las categorías del color como signo, señal o símbolo. De manera fundamental un abandono de lo pictórico en aras de una valoración de lo objetual mediante unos soportes fríos y una conceptualización de la práctica pictórica insistiendo en el doble juego de pintura+fotografia=pintura que deviene en fotografía. En total el periodo de este proyecto supone la elaboración de un conjunto de 45 obras entre pinturas, esculturas y fotografías.

The Image and limit project marks the start of formal research with works in two and three dimensions, from paintings using primary colours to photographs and geometrical structures made from wood and aluminium. They are different sizes, going from models to structures that fit in somewhere between design and architecture. Open, modular structures derived from cubes are used repeatedly. Understand the limits between disciplines of two or three dimensions. Work analytically with colour confronting material and photographic image. Experiment with semantic value in relation to its sensual and tactile nature. Put colour categories to work as sign, signal or symbol. Fundamentally the abandonment of pictorial work for the sake of the object value using cold mounts and a conceptualization of pictorial practice insisting on the double role of painting+photography=picture which evolves into photography. Over a period of time this project produced 45 works including paintings, sculptures and photographs.
